Default Different way to earn rep points

2 ways of earning rep points seems to me to be pretty horrible compared to the time spent getting them: individual dungeons and the books.

For those that don't know, dungeons give around 1-5kish rep the first time you do them, then after only 1/10th of that. The books get turned in for 2.5k with a single faction.

In my opinion at least the dungeons are the only place in EotN that presents an actual challenge and the rep rewards shouldn't be as bad for them.

So my suggestion is that you get the full dungeon reward if completing the dungeon adds it to the dungeon book. Essentially this will change finishing every dungeon (after the first time) from a rather pitifull 1-2k for every race and 2.5k to the race you choose, to 10-20k for every race and 2.5k to the race you choose.

This would work because its rather farm-resistant: if you do a dungeon twice without doing every other dungeon and turning in your book you will only get the regular 1/10th reward. Repeatedly doing certain dungeons very quickly was the primary reason I believe the reward tapers off anyway. If anyone thinks this is too easy, all 15 normal dungeons (not even counting the joke ones or the elite one) at 45 mins each (pretty good average time) takes over 11 hours, assuming perfect completion. It would still be less then half that of dedicated area sweeping, but would allow people to develop titles at a reasonable rate in dungeons.

And this would be the best solution- win/win.
Farmer still would have their precious areas to farm rep points and people who want to have fun can complete some hardcore dungeon to get the same results.

Sorry, but that wouldn't make it farm-proof...

Somebody could do whichever dungeon gets the best reputation to time ratio, throw away their dungeon book, get another one and redo the dungeon...

Unless they made it so you couldn't throw away the dungeon book it would still be farmable...

You're forgetting about the dwarf points you can farm while doing dungeons as well as the possibility of getting a really rare item. So dungeon rewards are fine as is. Don't get greedy.

Book rewards do suck. Badly.

For 2500 points, I'd rather keep the completed book instead of filling it again.
You can get more than that by completing one area, if you leave the bosses be until getting rank 4.

That is true. Dungeon books should give 10k or 25k, hero books, 5k or 10k and they should be able to be handed in with your other characters (not traded, just by characters of you account) so if you farm points with other characters and you already have the titles maxed, you could increase the titles of you other characters.

That is what it should be done.

But I would never let the books be delivered without being completed.
Completion should still be a must. So people still has to make all dungeons, not the ones they find easier.
